Flower, River and Possibilities

Flowers, River & Possibilities explores the cultural diversity of Bangkok’s riverside communities through the artistic vision of Sakul Intakul, bringing together his longstanding engagement with flowers, cultural traditions, and spatial expression.

Inspired by the Chao Phraya River as a shared source of life and cultural exchange, the exhibition reveals the distinct identities, traditions, and stories of 12 communities along its banks.

In collaboration with Cultural-Oriented Design Studio, Sakul translates the character of each community into a series of 12 sculptures and installations. Incorporating locally sourced materials and fresh flowers, each work reflects the relationship between cultural heritage, material, and place.

Together, the installations offer a contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s living cultural landscape, celebrating the diversity of its communities and the river that connects them.
